Presentation Information
EO360
As you’ve never done an EO360 before (let’s face it, neither have we!), we’re sure that you have many questions about the format and expectations.
With EO360 we decided to take the traditional conference presentation and spin it on its axis to come up with something new and more engaging. When we flipped it on it’s head, this is what we’ve come up with:
One minute to introduce yourself / your team. That’s right, you can have more than one presenter if that works for you.
Six minutes to present your ideas / story / work. We encourage you to do this in a highly visual way as opposed to loads of text on a slide.
Seven minutes to open the floor for 360 discussion and feedback. A session chair will be available to assist if you need help, but this is your opportunity to drive the interaction. Perhaps even consider asking the audience questions rather than the other way around.
To aid discussion and audience participation, you will also have access to a whiteboard and flip chart as well as the standard projection screen. The room will be set up with chairs in a concentric semicircle configuration without a stage to create a more intimate atmosphere with the audience.
EO360 Q&A session
If you missed the Q&A session find the recording and powerpoint below.

We now hand this over to you and your imagination to bring this to life. Thank you for being the brave ‘early adopters’ of something fresh and new!
Traditional
As you prepare your presentation, please keep in mind the following timeline:
One minute for the Session Chair to introduce you.
Eleven minutes to present your ideas / story / work on Powerpoint or similar.
Two minutes for a quick question from the audience.
Poster
Posters at AEO 2022 are an integral part of the Forum and a great opportunity to present, promote, discuss, and receive feedback about your work and to network with delegates. We have moved beyond the days when posters were considered a secondary or peripheral part of conferences and we are hosting them as a key section of the Forum.
Your poster will be displayed on a panel 1m wide by 2.5m tall in the Exhibition area. Our recommendation is for your poster to be either:
a single portrait page, 841mm wide by 1188mm tall; or
a long portrait page 841mm wide by 1524mm tall
Each poster should be dominated by graphics, i.e. covering at least 70% of the poster area.
The graphics and text on them (captions, graph axes, etc), need to be at a size they can easily be read standing 1m - 2m from the poster. The number and placement of graphics should be done in a balanced and logical way, e.g. not too crowded or just a single graphic.
Similar principles apply to the text to be included, which should be < 30% of the poster ideally. The text needs to be in a font and at a size that is easily read standing 1m - 2m from the poster. Your poster needs to convey key information succinctly and as much as possible, information should be presented visually.
We really like the guidelines suggested for creating and presenting posters here.
You will have allocated times to be present at your poster for discussions, and we will be directing Forum activities to poster areas at these times.
