Equity, Diversity & Inclusion.

The AEO Forum Organising Committee is committed to improving and promoting equity, diversity and inclusion across all of our activities in science, education, government and industry.

We are building a program that embraces diverse perspectives on the basis of professional experience, cultural background, disability, gender and sexual orientation or identity, to ensure our delegates have the greatest opportunity for learning, collaboration and innovation.

Our aim is to provide an environment that is accessible and fosters fairness, equity, respect for diversity, and that is free from discrimination, bullying, harassment, vilification, and victimisation. To achieve this, we expect all participants at the forum to adopt the Code of Conduct.

Our goals to increase equity, diversity, and inclusion are:

  • To encourage individuality to be valued at all levels;

  • To generate awareness of diversity, inclusivity, accessibility, and transparency issues;

  • To actively seek gender and ethnicity experience and application balance and representation at all levels from the Organising Committee, speakers, presenters, session chairs, panellists, and attendees.
